Perpignan - Cathédrale Saint Jean

Cathédrale Saint Jean built during the reign of Sanche of Majorca, the cathedral was built in 1324 on the model of a 3-nave church. Further works in 1433 by Guillaume Sagrera transformed the building into a one-towering-nave church. It was consacrated only in 1509 and raised to the dignity of a cathedral in 1601, to the detriment of Elne's church
