My "Amphora" in Béziers !
My "Amphora" in Béziers ! A small reproduction made about twenty years ago for the Cave Co-operative in Sallèles-d'Aude - a very short production run of these were made in one of the original Roman Ovens at "Amphoralis" and came filled with the local wine. Now, during the summer months, I put it in my freezer (empty !) - it is then the perfect way to serve a nice local White or Rosé on my terrace at lunchtime.
