Narbonne - Modern "Cathar" Images

They are in an "Air" (Layby) on the Autoroute as one enters the "Cathar Country" !!! - but the Cathars were essentially a peaceful group of people and I cannot imagine that they would have had the Visors & Shields depicted here. These must represent the "invading hoards" of the King of Northern France and the Catholic Church !

They are just off the Autoroute between Narbonne and Carcassonne
