HERAULT - Minervois "Circulades Village"
The medievel "Circulade" Village of Aigne, near Minerve. It is built rather like the coil of a 'Snail Shell' and known locally as "Escargos" - the "plaque" in the village shows the typical shape of this Medieval centre.
The outer wall, now with houses built against it. (not the lower wall !)
