The Camin Romieu - the name of the most Southerly Route of the Six Pilgrim Roads that pass through France on their way to "Compostella" in Northern Spain
The route passes through the "Quartier Sain-Jacques where the pilgrims could stay in a Monestery attached to the Church.
They also would see the Place St Cyre, where St Aphrodise arrived from Egypt on his Camel, to christianise the people of Béziers - unfortunately - he lost his head in the process !
