Midi Canal - Pigasse "Toll Point"
The Pont du Pigasse - three centuries ago this was one of the "toll" stations, where all travelers had to stop and pay their dues.
The boats would moor up on this side of the Canal, where there was a "Relais" (overnight stop) for them to stay in. Also this Field Well to top up with water.
