Category: The Sun
The alignment of Saturn and Jupiter, which occurs every eight centuries, or thereabouts, that produces the effect of a very bright star in the night sky. The actual conjunction was on the 21st December, the Winter Solstice, but I think most of Europe suffered from cloudy conditions, the best shot I got was the night before, the two planets can be seen close together. The link below is to a video of the sunset that night and the two planets can be seen entering the frame close together towards the end.
