Collioure 1905, the "Fauve Summer". The artistic adventure that made Western art take a sudden turn into modernity. Two young artists, Matisse and Derain, installed for a few months in the Summer of 1905 in the charming Catalan port of Collioure, paint without the constraint of real colour, of perspective and drawing, in a manner so new they will become the major actors of the first artistic revolution of the XXth century, "Fauvism"
