The Village of Opoul-Périllos (in the Corbières Hills near Perpignan), The Chapel of St. Barbe, the Patron Saint of Pompiers (Firemen) and miners . This saint is connected to fire and explosives. The Chapel itself lies on a North/South orientation and not the normal East/West of Christian churches. A theory suggests that the summit of Montouillé de Périllou., the chapel of St. Barbe, the Church of St. Michel in the village of Périllos and a chapel dedicated to Sainte Thérèse, situated on private property in the valley of the Belle Auriole are on a ley line!
