Bird Watching in the Corbières

In this dead tree just outside Cascastel where there is a "Wryneck" probably nesting (Jynx torquilla - Latin name, Torcol fourmilier - French name probably because they eat fourmis, ants). They are a member of the woodpecker family, and difficult to see as they are very well camouflaged and look very much like the bark of a tree
