Summer in the Corbières - " Sentier Sculpturel, Mayronne "

Each year an Association in the commune of Mayronne invites sculptors to submit a work which can be placed alongside a footpath. This footpath is about 4/5 kms long and is well signposted. and a natural "sculpture" - A rare siting of a cicada making its evocative noise in the heat of the day. Apparently the male cicada attracts the female by vibrating tiny membranes on the sides of his body
