ALBI - Le Vieux Forge - La Forgeronnette

"The Forgeronnette" - Martine Moulet is one of the rare Frenchwomen to be a "craftsman-blacksmith". For 25 years she works with happiness in her forging mill installed in an old private mansion of Albi. She has recreated much of the ironwork in the Cathedral Holy-Cecile, just "a stone's throw" from the workshop. With the passing of time, it has become a place that should not be missed in the city: which looks after the "bobos"(?*) monument, pride of all the Albigensians * Is a baby word, probably a nickname for the "monument", sculpture in the Cathedral. Possibly "bobo" refers to the little "flowers" where the joins were, but it maybe that the entire structure is of children and therefore referred to as the kid's monument.
