"Etang de Vendres" & "The Temple of Venus"
Over the next few days we will visit the remains of the Gallo-Roman Villa, known as “Temple of Venus”
This residential villa, was built during the first century B.C. on a remarkable site which dominates the “Etang of Vendres”, more open to the sea than today, developed gradually to profit from the advantages of the site and the superb panorama
