Lo Camin Romieu - the name of the most Southerly Route of the Pilgrim Roads that pass through France on their way to "Compostella" in Northern Spain.
These little Medallions are set in the pavements of Béziers, where to route passes through - they are using an alternative spelling !
The centre represents the traditional "Coquille Saint Jacques" that is worn by people walking the route, to shew that they are Pilgrims
