Midi Canal - Gailhousty Lock As one travels down the Canal du Midi you come to the "Long Pound". About halfway along you reach the "Junction Canal" which leeds down to Sallèles-d'Aude, then on to the crossing of the River Aude to take you onto Narbonne. The crossing is known as "Gaihousty".
1 - Looking down river with the railway bridge and further on, the Moussoulens Lock, gateway to The Canal de la Robine and Narbonne.
