The Mediteranean Occaroon
An unusual sight - the very rare 'Occaroon', out of the sea for a stroll on the Occitan (Languedoc) coast of the Mediteranean at Leucate Plage..
Some believe that it was the inspiration for the ancient wind musical instrumentt - "The Ocarina", because it's call has a strange "flutelike" sound.
