End of the French season

The bouys that normally are set several hundred meters off-shore (to divide the swimming and boating areas) have been brought into the shore for the winter, however the water is still warm enough for swimming (I was in for over an hour) and the beach is not overrun with kids, it is a nice time of the year to visit the area.
