90Years on - "In Flanders fields the poppies blow........."

The annual 11 November commemoration of the end of the "War to end all Wars"! - Cascastel, like all communes in France however big or small has a ceremony to mark the occasion. The Cacastelloise process to the War Memorial, the Mayor reads out the name of each villager who died in the two World Wars, a child lays a flower on the memorial and everyone says each time "Mort pour la France" The memory stays
