Land Ho
Penny acting as lookout during a canal trip, this is the Junction canal which is only a few kilometers long, has eight locks, and joins the Canal du Midi to the river Aude. This photo was taken on the 26th October 1999 when Penny (Pénélope to give her full title) was just 3 months old that day. At the end of the season it is possible to get very good deals from some of the hire boat companies who want boats transfered from one base to another, we had a deal where we paid just for the fuel, yet we had the boat for five days.
