The sign is cast iron made in the Toulouse foundry of "Cristophe P_E_ES", that's all I can make out. This piece of street achitecture is worthy of a preservation order all by itself, modern 'cost-effective' 'plastic' 'utility' signs have none of the art of this piece, still in perfect condition
