.....Strange "Fungus" in the South of France

.....Strange "Fungus" growing in a tree stump in the centre of Béziers - and deep down inside the hollow is a small brown one that I have seen many people gathering from other stumps - maybe your last "delicious meal" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
