Fête de St Aphrodise - Béziers - 2012. The Saint who christianised Béziers in the Third Century. There is a local "sweet" bun eaten on the 28th of April - known as a 'Coque St Aphrodise' - perhaps representing the Ship that he arrived on from Egypt ! My local baker won the award for the the best this year
