With all the flooding around the world at the moment - these houses built on the beach at Gruissan Plage could be of interest. Originally built at the beginning of the 20'th Century as a Holiday Resort for use in the Summer months - on "stilts to protect them from the winter storms. Setting for the opening scenes for the French Cult" Film "37°2 le matin" - aka "Betty Blue"
This one is as it would have been, time past - un-restored and not turned into a "chi-chi" modern holiday home !
