Château de Peyrepertuse
Situated high on a rocky ledge which commanded the old border between France and Spain. Built on the site of the old Cathar Refuge of Guilhem de Peyrepertuse.
The fortress is in two parts - here, looking down from the "High Fort" to the Village of Duilhac-sous-Peyrepertuse below.
