Martel a delightful village, on the border with the Department of Corrèze, makes a good weekend visit from the Languedoc - Henry the Young King (February 28, 1155 - June 11, 1183) died here. He was the second of five sons of Henry II of England and Eleanor of Aquitaine - for all that, a charming village!
